Nearly 100 members gathered for the Chamber's Annual Meeting on May 7 at the Detroit Country Club for an evening focused on connection, celebration, and the evolving work of the Chamber.
The program highlighted the Chamber’s continued efforts to elevate its impact through stronger advocacy, expanded partnerships, increased member visibility, and meaningful opportunities for business and community connection.
Attendees heard updates on initiatives including the Chamber’s regional advocacy work, Experience DL collaborations, growing social media and marketing reach, investments in member experience and technology, and new efforts focused on workforce, leadership, and community engagement.
The evening also featured keynote speaker Princess Paula, whose presentation, Be the Ferrari: You’re Not for Everyone and That’s Exactly the Point, brought humor, energy, and meaningful reminders about confidence, authenticity, and embracing what makes each person and business unique. Her message had attendees laughing, reflecting, and leaving inspired to show up boldly in both business and life.
More than a recap of the past year, the Annual Meeting reflected the momentum happening across the Chamber and business community — and the value of businesses coming together to strengthen the region.
